Will CBD get me high?

Cannabidiol (CBD) and Cannabis sound quite similar so we understand if you are questioning the effects CBD will have on your body. While CBD and THC (tetrahydracannabinol) are two of the most well known components of cannabis, CBD on its own will not get you high. This is down to THC being the psychoactive component within the cannabis plant. There are many different strains of cannabis out there, all with different levels of various compounds.
The products we stock here at Hemptronics are all taken from the Hemp plant, which is part of the Cannabis family. To be considered as Hemp the plant cannot contain more than 0.3% THC and will on average contain 18% CBD. In addition some of our products are what we call broad spectrum which means we have removed all the THC from the final product.
So for a short answer - no, CBD on its own will not make you high.
In fact CBD has been shown to have multiple benefits for people. Consumers have reported relief in chronic pain and inflammation or a lifting in mood to even benefits in a good night’s sleep.
